Divinity II Ego Draconis is an example of how not to do a game port really, this game is much better on the PC from the interface to the graphics and down to the gameplay as well, the PC version is the one you want to be playing. The game itself is decent, there’s tons of stuff to do, it’s long and the fact that you can play as a dragon adds to the game, but that doesn’t make up for low framerates, tearing and other glitches in the game like having your character get stuck in places or the controller just not working correctly at times. One glaring difference is that you don’t get to see your character in the interface, in the PC version you can see him or her and the appearance changes with what weapons you use, what armor you equip etc, I really liked that feature and it’s just not in the Xbox360 version. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: as far as I’m concerned, this is the most complex and complicated game ever created. Should that deter you from trying it? Well, that all depends on how you feel about spending $40 on the product. Are you up to the challenge of becoming a Supreme Ruler? Do you have the time that it takes to strive at this game? You know your life better then I do, but if time is an issue, stay away from this title. If graphics or sound is an issue, once again, keep away. If strategy is your thing, then by all means try this game out. Supreme Ruler 2020 offers plenty of it.
