Title: DXG-595V HD High-Definition Video Camera Reviewed @ TestFreaks.com
Review Link: http://www.testfreaks.com/blog/review/dxg-595v-hd-high-definition-video-camera/
Review Snipit:
“One such company that makes HD video cameras and sells them at very inexpensive prices is DXG, most people balk at the quality vs price with these cameras, they can’t believe that a sub-$200 camera can produce a quality video. I’ve got the DXG-595V HD camera for review today, it’s DXGs flagship camera, and by the HD in the name we can see it’s a hi-def camera, and it can record up to 1080p resolution “

Title: Olympus SP-570UZ Digital Camera Review
Link: http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/618
Category: Reviews
Summary:
Our review of Olympus SP-570UZ camera, a camera that looks line an SLR but doesn’t have interchangeable lenses. Is this a good solution? Check it out.
Here is a snippet:
“The Olympus SP-570UZ (Ultra Zoom) is an unusual breed in the camera lineup. Because it doesn’t have interchangeability of lenses like a SLR (single lens reflex) camera, it is technically a point-and-shoot camera. Yet it offers many features that are commonly found in more expensive digital SLR cameras. We set out to find out whether a half-breed of this type would be valuable.”

“HP’s df750a2 (around £65) is a relatively high resolution 7-inch digital picture frame that displays your digital photos (JPEG) and video clips (MPEG-1/4) without a computer. Furthermore, two built-in speakers let you listen to audio files (MP3 and WMA) and the supplied remote control allows you to conveniently access your content.”

“Sony’s DSC-W130 is a good all-rounder, though image quality is quite run of the mill with softening around edges and noise at ISO 800 and higher. Colours are vibrant and shots are generally acceptable, though aren’t quite as sharp as they could be - but they’re more than suitable for respectable A4 prints, e-mailing, and posting on the Web. The DSC-W130 doesn’t set the world on fire, but its build quality, fast shutter, longer-than-normal lens, and handy in-camera editing and slide show functions make it a well-rounded offering for the asking price.”

“With five eye-catching colours to choose from we are sure the FinePix Z20fd will suit inexperienced digital camera users looking for a sub-£100 camera. This fun, affordable and metal-bodied model could also make the perfect gift for teenagers looking for their first camera. The only disappointments are the average photo (purple fringing is evident and colours are oversaturated) and video quality, as well as the annoying lens cover which adds a little bulk and tends to slide open when travelling.”

We all love taking pictures and showing them off to our friends and family, be it a special occasion or just having some fun, but digital pictures are hard to take with you as they are not tangible, material things, they’re just data after all. One of the reasons sites like Flickr are extremely popular is because of the popularity of taking photographs and sharing them, but people can’t always access the site, and it’s not always worth it to print out every photo we take. Digital Photo Keychains are an inexpensive and easy way to take our photos with us to share them, and they also make great gifts to give away to family and friends. You can easily load your pictures on them, share them, and then just put more pictures on when need be, it’s very simple and easy to do, they make a great temporary photo storage and display device.
Today for review I’ve got another Digital Photo Keychain from our friends at Wholesale Keychain, it’s called the TAO and it features a 1.4 inch Lcd screen, large memory capacity, and even an included AC adapter to make charging the battery easier.

he prices on digital cameras have dropped drastically over the years and while they’re very nice to have there’s not much you can do with a digital picture once you take it. Sure you can transfer it to your computer and look at it, or even upload it to share, but there’s just something nice about having a picture in your hand that’s on paper to show, share and give away. Yes, you can have them printed for you or you can invest in a digital photo printer to print your own pictures but the cost of ink these days is ridiculous, and of course the cost of quality photo paper is outrageous as well. When you combine the costs of a good quality photo printer, the special photo ink and high quality paper is it even worth it to print your own pictures?
Today for review I’ve got a quick and easy way to take your digital photos with you to share with friends and family, it’s a Digital Photo Keychain from Wholesale Keychains . It’s got a 1.5 inch display that has a 128×128 pixel resolution and it can hold up to 43 pictures and even includes software built into it to transfer and crop your pictures easily.
It can make a great gift, or even a nice give away for a company to show off their products and for a few dollars more they’ll even engrave it for you to make it more personal.

InsideHW.com has posted an article about Accessible Digital Cameras Roundup. You can read a clip from review:
…”This time we have tested accessible digital cameras with price tag below 160€. We couldn’t test all cameras in this price range so we tested only models that we found interesting. On the market you can find cameras with similar specifications to those that we have tested which very often mean just different number of megapixels. Since summer vacations are approaching we hope that this round-up will help you in making decision for your new camera.”…

We have taken a look at the tidy little Samsung SC-HMX20C Full-HD Camcorder in our latest review. This little unit uses flash storage and a 6.4MP CMOS sensor to capture video at 1080p and still pictures at 6.4MP. If you’re looking for a multi-function video/still camera to take on holidays and capture your memories, this one should do nicely and won’t break the bank. It retails for under $900. Catch our review for all the details.

Quote:
The Samsung SC-HMX20C camcorder was a surprise in more ways than one. First of all, the camcorder is really quite small yet feels much more solid than I would have thought. Also it has decent still image camera functions and can double up as your favorite still and video camera to take on your next holiday. What makes this unit special is that it is one of the least expensive Full HD (1920×1080p) cameras around and manages to do a pretty good job in most situations.

10+ Things I Learned With my First DSLR @ TheTechLounge
Quote:
“It strikes me as pure poetry that the acronym for point-and-shoot is POS. Wait, no, it’s not. That would have been apt. The first time I borrowed a friend’s Canon 20D, I was hooked. Taking product shots went from a detestable any-excuse-to-put-it-off event to something… simple? Fun? Remarkably, taking pictures changed from something that I sucked at to something I could really get into. And, just like that, I started shopping around for DSLR bodies.”

Megapixels: Myth or Reality?
When it comes to technology, more is always better, isn’t it? More memory, more hard drive space, more screen resolution. In the case of digital cameras, you keep hearing – from manufacturers, sales people, and friends and family – that more megapixels are the measure of a camera’s quality.
But is this true? Or are we being sold a bill of goods? Well, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Megapixels are an important factor when choosing a digital camera. But they shouldn’t be the deciding factor, nor are they the most important.
What is a megapixel, anyway?
First off, let’s look at what a pixel is. It’s short for picture element, and is a single colored square in the mosaic that makes up a photograph. Each pixel represents a bit of light that sensors in your camera picks up when you click the button to take a picture.
