Review Blurb: “It’s been a while since I’ve taken a look at any cell phones hasn’t it? Well today I’ve got the new Pantech C790 Reveal for you. The Reveal is for AT&T and it’s considered a messaging phone, it features a full slide out QWERTY keyboard and a regular dialer keypad as well. It’s got a 1.3MP camera in it, along with bluetooth, AT&T navigator and access to most all other stuff on the AT&T network as well. It’s not a smartphone by any means, but it resembles one.”

Gigabyte GeForce GT220

Review Blurb: “If you happen to be one of the many people affected by the US economy, then you really don’t have money to throw around. You may be looking to upgrade from your current onboard graphics, or want to upgrade your card. Either way the GT220 may be a great option for you. This card has the power to play all of the latest games, but does not include the high price tag of higher end cards. Granted this card will not perform as well as a higher end card, but playing the game is enough for some.”

Cooler Master Lab Test Bench V1.0 Review

Review Blurb: “I’ve been a bit more inactive at the site as I’ve helped set up the HWBot Country Cup at HWBot.org, in the meanwhile "big" boss JMke found a way to keep me performing my favorite past time (overclocking) while providing content for the site. When he suggested I could have a look at one of the latest cases of Coolermaster, built and designed for, well, me, I just couldn’t refuse.”

Athlon II X3 435 Triple Core Processor

Link: http://www.techwarelabs.com/athlon-ii-x3-435/

Review Blurb: “With the ongoing buzz of people worrying about the economy and their own funds, the term “low budget” is becoming  used far more often. Today, we are going to be looking at AMD’s Athlon II X3 435 processor. The Athlon II X3 435 has 1.5MBs of L2 Cache per core and is a 95W (45nm) processor. It supports all the same features found in the rest of the Athlon II processors (X2, X3 and X4 alike). However, AMD’s larger aim is based on it’s price point. With a amazing sub $90 price there should be no reason not to take a second look  at the new Athlon II CPUs, especially if you are on a budget.”

Toshiba Satellite T135 Win 7 CULV Notebook Review

Link: http://hothardware.com/Articles/Toshiba-Satellite-T135-Review/

Review Blurb: “We’re seeing more and more CULV notebooks hit the market these days. The growing sector of Consumer Ultra Low Voltage machines attempts to bridge the gap between lower cost netbooks and full-size notebooks, offering a more powerful chip than the ubiquitous Atom options we see in netbooks, but one that consumes less power than the mainstream Core 2 Duo processors we see in many full-size notebooks.”

LiteON iHAS424 Dual-Layer DVD Writer Review

Link: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=2464

Review Blurb: “Optical drives have largely homogenized, save for a few neat features like dual-layer DVD burning or Lightscribe. Compared to the rest of the computer industry, optical drives have evolved into a mature technology. For a good example of the features a modern optical drive should have, look no further than the Lite-On iHAS424 DL-DVD burner. It’s got everything you’d expect from a DVD-writer, including dual-layer DVD writing and reading, compatibility with both + and – formats, as well as support for lightscribe label burning if you have photosensitive media. Of course, it’ll also read and write CD-Rs and CD-RWs.”

Lenovo IdeaPad U350

Review Blurb: “To our great satisfaction, amount of thin, light and accessible laptops present on the market is constantly enlarging. This time we present you Lenovo IdeaPad U350 – very thin, 13.1-inch display, 1.65kg weight, under 450€ laptop. With these features and really nice price tag, we predict that it will win the hearts and minds of many users out there.”

Up – DVD Review

Review Blurb: “It’s the kind of lovely ‘little’ movie that needs a fun cover, and that’s what we get. I do like the cover action a lot. It would make an awesome poster..hint hint (birthday coming up) Sometimes I grunt at the site of another “cute’ cover, but this is an exception. The movie makes it great. The menu, ho-hum, not much to talk about. It’s got a cool animation of the house danging from the balloons, but then just has the navigation tagged on to the side.”

Synology DS209 Advance NAS Enclosures

Link: http://www.pro-clockers.com/enclosures/819-synology-ds209-advance-nas-enclosures.html

Review Blurb: “This is the age of digital media and mass storage. Digital downloading is present in many homes via sites like iTunes and Rhapsody. Many people have digital cameras and high definition video cameras. We need massive storage capacities in order to save the large formats raw or in jpeg. Let’s not forget about the large amounts of space these video camera video files can take up. You’re going to need a place to keep all that data. That device is the Synology DS209 which we will be reviewing next.”

Verbatim TUFF-CLIP 8GB USB Drive

Link: http://www.bonafidereviews.com/blog/verbatim-tuff-clip-8gb-usb-drive/

Review Blurb: “Today for review I’ve got the Verbatim Tuff-Clip 8GB USB drive. This USB drive resembles a carabineer style clip that you can attach to most anything. The drive comes with software to create two partitions as well, one secure and one public so you can hide any important data so it can’t be accessed without a password. I’ve put it up against a few other 8gb USB drives I’ve got on hand for comparison and the Tuff-Clip performs well actually..”

Link: http://www.thinkcomputers.org/chieftec-bl-01b-pc-case-review/

Review Blurb: “Today we get to look at a unique case, one that I’ve never seen before. The Chieftec BL-01B is a case that allows you to mount a 19”-24” monitor right on it! Its L-Type design allows the case to use a VESA Monitor Mount. This case would be a great addition for a business, retail store, or someone just looking to save some space. Read on further to take a look at this one of a kind case.”

Corsair Obsidian 800D

Link: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Corsair/Obsidian_800D

Review Blurb: “Corsair is a well known brand of performance memory in the enthusiast market. To diversify their portfolio the company has started with some high quality power supplies quite some time ago. They are now offering their first enclosure, called the Obsidian 800D. This chassis has been designed by Corsair from the ground up with a lot of unique features. While it is currently only available with a windowed side, Corsair will be offering a solid panel for purchase.”

Crucial 4GB Kit (2×2048MB) PC3-10600/DDR3-1333 Memory Review

Link: http://www.ocinside.de/go_e.html?http://www.ocinside.de/html/results/crucial_4gb_pc3_10600.html

Review Blurb: “After two high-end DDR3 RAM reviews it is again time for an inexpensive 4GB PC3-10600 CL9 kit.  The Crucial PC3-10600 4GB CL9 kit comes without heat spreader and is designed for a voltage of 1.5 V.  With this low Vmem no OC records were reached, but the result are nevertheless respectable.  All OC results and more details about the Crucial PC3-10600 4GB kit are shown in the new ocinside.de test report.”

Eagle Arion ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 Soundstage Speakers

Link: http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=397&Itemid=59

Review Blurb: “It doesn’t require a music-prodigy to appreciate good music on a nice set of speakers. But how can the average Joe distinguish a nice set of speakers from manufactured junk? Does the presence of a subwoofer, multiple speakers or a list of features guarantee a set will be high quality? Or can you be assured good performance by sticking to name-brands? At Benchmark Reviews we reviewed the Eagle Arion ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 Soundstage Speakers using some objective, repeatable tests. These tests helped screen those factors that are important to sound quality from those factors which are insignificant.”
