Title: Das Keyboard Professional Keyboard @ TestFreaks.com
Review Link: http://www.testfreaks.com/blog/review/das-keyboard-professional-keyboard/
Review Snipit:
“I’ve got arguably one of the best keyboards on the market for review today the Das Keyboard or The Keyboard, in other words THE Keyboard of keyboards! The Das Keyboard is more than a keyboard, it might be considered a work of art actually, it’s very nice to look at with its high gloss finish and blue LED indicators. Looks aren’t everything though as we all know, under the keys are Cherry brand gold-plated key switches to provide tactile and audible feedback while typing which provide a typing experience that has to be experienced to be understood. “
“If you’re ready for more mouth-watering fun, Feeding Frenzy 2: Shipwreck Showdown won’t disappoint. There are new challenges on every level so it is never boring, and there is even a little story to follow as you play along. It comes highly recommended for families and is an instant-classic. Our only disappointment is that there’s no fishy screensaver included. In addition, it’s a bit pricey, especially as you can purchase major releases for not much more financial outlay. Nevertheless, you should definitely dive in!â€

NEW CONTENT (News) – MSI Master Overclocking Arena 2008 video
QUOTE: “Over the past weekend, MSI held its first annual Master Overclocking Arena 2008 final in Taipei, opposite the Taipei computer markets.
It was an overall well attended and managed event that went rather well. We were in attendance and managed to produce a 12 minute video of the event.”

NEW CONTENT (Miscellaneous) – Smooth Creations LAN Shark Gaming System
QUOTE: “Many enthusiasts seem to think that Smooth Creations came on the scene when Cooler Master introduced their CSX line of products. The truth is that Smooth Creations has been lingering around in the corner of the PC market for many years, long before CSX. And even if you are a casual user, chances are you are familiar with their work from Maximum PC’s Dream Machine project. Smooth Creations has painted nearly as many Dream Machines as Intel has calculated data.
Today we are taking a look at the Smooth Creations LAN Shark, the entry point for a Smooth Creations systems build. The LAN Shark comes in an acrylic case, but don’t let your initial thoughts on that stop you from reading on. Smooth Creations has devised a way to turn every negative aspect of acrylic around and produce a system that you will be proud to have sitting on your desk. So, clear some room and prepare to kick that PC sitting under your desk to the curb.”

Fallout-3 PC Review
Date: 11-10-2008Â Written By Vlad
If the concept of blood and gore, intense violence, sexual themes, strong language and use of drugs appeals to you (in a video game of course), then Fallout 3 is a perfect title for you. It is bloody and gory indeed, the violence level certainly is intense, there are some sexual themes after all and the use of drugs is left entirely up to you; as a matter of fact if you start using that junk eventually you get hooked on it and that’s not a good thing. Hey, what can I say, this game is pretty much perfect. It is entertaining, has great replay factor, sounds great and looks great; the only thing is the adult nature of the game. If that does not bother you then go do yourself a favor and get this game A.S.A.P.

Etymotic ER-4 microPro Sound Isolating Earphones Reviewed @ TheTechLounge
Quote:
“The ER-4Ps are excellent at reproducing accurate sound from a recording. Â If you are listening to sub-par source material, you’ll know it. Â With a great recording, you’ll be inundated with all of the sounds that the producers wanted you to hear. Â I didn’t find any part of the audio range that was lacking. Â It was a treat to experience my music collection with that full-range, emphatically detailed sound that comes from this set of headphones. Â And you don’t hear anything else, thanks to the superb isolation that Etymotic has accomplished with the ER-4Ps.”

Digital videos and photos are no longer in the realm of the geek. Nowadays even the average person has a large collection of digital music, movies, and videos… and these are usually located on the family computer. What if you want to watch your movies or share your latest vacation photos in your living room? Not everyone has a fancy media server or Media Center PC (in addition to the Media Center Extenders). So, what do you do?
The Wii is one of the most popular consoles today, partially due to its very inexpensive price point. If you have one of these small electronic units, then you can easily transform it into a central entertainment device. With X-oom’s Media Center Extender for Wii XE, you can view photo slideshows, listen to internet radio and MP3s, watch YouTube, and watch pre-recorded movies and TV shows in just about any popular format.

Title – Ikonik Zaria Case Review @ High Tech Reviews
Quote – Ikonik is not a company that very many of you have heard of,
but I think in the future it is a company people will be taking
notice of their offerings. The company was nice enough to send us one
of their mid-tower cases and a power supply to review, so we are
starting with the case. The case is a steel and Aluminum hybrid that
offers a few features I have never seen before in any other case. If
you wish to find out what they are you will need to read the review.

Coolmax CUG-950B 950W Power Supply Review:
Link: http://www.rbmods.com/Articles/Coolmax/Rm_750b/1.php
Quote: A few weeks ago, we took a look at Coolmax’s 950W PSU and were impressed by the quality and stable voltages. Coolmax also offers a 750W PSU, the Coolmax RM-750B 750W PSU, which they claim has a high level of performance with a lower price point. Will the reduced power prove to be too much of a sacrifice? Let’s find out as we take a closer look at this power supply.

| Intel Core i7 965EE, i7 940, i7 920 Review |
 |
Author: Doc Overclock Date: 11-10-2008
The Key features of the new CPUs include the return of Intel’s famous HyperThreading technology, meaning that the CPUs can work on 8 threads at the same time, double that of the Core 2 Quad CPUs that were the top of the line CPU in the previous generation. The new CPUs are faster in applications that take advantage of multiple cores, which means that programs installed on your computer that can take advantage of multi-core technology will run much faster. As of now the 920 is slated to hit the streets for $284 in a few weeks. The hardcore gamer wanting the most out of their Core i7 CPU will want the 965 which will run $999, a bit higher in price, but for those who must have the best at the moment this is it folks.

The last gaming mice we came across from Logitech were the G5 and G7 and it has been around 2 years since. Recently, Logitech added to the line-up and we have with us today, the Logitech G9 Laser. We’ll judge how this rodent fares in general everyday and intense gaming use.

“Whereas stylish and compact all-in-one PCs, such as Apple’s iMac, cost the same as a small townhouse in London, ASUS’s Eee Top ET1602 is a snip at £449. Sporting a cracking design, bright and clear touchscreen display, along with an energy-efficient Atom processor and Windows XP, the Eee Top ET1602 would make for a great family PC. The screen is a bit on the small side – which makes you feel like you’re using a laptop – but the added interactivity of touchscreen brings a fun element to casual computing. You can forget about running the latest 3D games, however, along with any dreams you might have harboured about upgrading in the near future because the Eee Top ET1602 is pretty much a closed system. As long as you don’t use strenuous tasks, the Eee Top ET1602 is a great value system.â€

Xigmatek Battle-Axe VGA Cooler
Link:

Brief:
The Xigmatek Battle-Axe VGA Cooler takes the innovations from the company in the CPU cooler area and applies them to a GPU cooler. This means that you will get direct touch heatpipes and massive fans to cool that modern graphic card of yours.

“The Digital IXUS 980 IS is an expensive camera if bought from a High Street store (Jessops currently sells it for £350!), but it offers a fantastic blend of technical innovation and classic IXUS design. Equally striking inside and out, the Digital IXUS 980 IS is the ideal camera for those who appreciate manufacturing quality and don’t mind paying for it. You’ll not be disappointed with image quality, either. It doesn’t offer any snazzy features like a touchscreen, waterproofing, high-def video recording or Wi-Fi, but at least thanks to the new manual controls you can finally start to get creative with an IXUS.â€

Today we're going to look at a product from a fairly new company.
Ikonik presented its first products at Computex this year,
but already the company's products are starting to find their
into stores near you. We've handed a case from dashing Zaria
series that looks good on the outside, but does it work on the inside?
That's what we're about to find out.

"I took a quick look around and I couldn't find many reviews
of its products in the West. Ikonik presented its first products
at Computex earlier this year and managed to get some media
exposure through its innovative case and power supply designs.
The case we're going to review today is from the Zaria series.
More specifically the Zaria A20. "

Title: ATI X.Org, Mesa Performance In Ubuntu @ Phoronix
Direct Link: http://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=13093
Summary: "Late last month we published system benchmarks of Ubuntu 7.04
through 8.10 and had found -- at least with the Intel notebook we were
using -- that the performance had degraded with time. This article had
then resulted in benchmarks of Fedora 7 through 10 and most recently
were Mac OS X 10.5 vs. Ubuntu 8.10 benchmarks. In our original article
we hadn't focused much upon the graphics tests and we were just using
ATI's binary driver, but per a request from Canonical's Bryce
Harrington, we have carried out some open-source graphics tests on
Ubuntu 7.04 through 8.10 and we started with the ATI performance."
