Kingwin Mach 1 900Watt Power Supply Review

August 21st, 2008 by Kristofer

Power supplies are the heart of any system, just like our hearts the power supply provides power to the PC system, and without a solid stable power supply your system can fail. There are many aspects or features to PSUs as well, some come with your standard hard wired cable layout while other are modular allowing the end user to pick and choose which connections they need which is nice when you want or need the power but don’t need all of the included connections hanging around.

Up on the review block today is the
Mach 1
900Watt Power Supply from
Kingwin that not only looks great, but features an interesting modular cabling system that securely locks the cables into the PSU to insure they will not come loose. During my time with the Mach 1 I found it to be a very quiet and exceptionally stable power supply that will meet or exceed the demands of most high end system on the market today.

Toshiba Satellite L300-11G @ InsideHW

August 21st, 2008 by Kristofer

InsideHW.com has posted review for Toshiba Satellite L300-11G notebook. You can read a clip from review:

“Beside Satellite A300 and P300 notebook series, Toshiba also released on market redesigned Satellite L series. We will introduce you with all novelties through testing of model Toshiba Satellite L300-11G. L series didn’t experience that much cosmetic changes like new A and P series did. We could even say that Satellite L300 is less “fancy” than its predecessor. Some of us will count that as big plus because L300 has above all “neutral” design…”

With the case closed up and ugly-lid hidden away, we see that this unit doesn’t look half bad from the outside! - With no more weight than the components inside, this unit is easy enough to carry around to and from LAN parties. And I’m about to do just that…”

Hardware Bistro KWorld Plus TV Hybrid USB Stick Pro 325U Review

August 21st, 2008 by Kristofer

KWorld Plus TV Hybrid USB Stick Pro supports both digital and analog TV but do you need both of them? I believe most of the users do not require a TV turner card that need to have support both of them except for those who is always traveling from one country to another then it is good to have this kind of TV turner card. If the price doesn’t much higher than normal digital or analog TV turner card, then it is no doubt why not get it. Overall, we are quite impressed by the KWorld Plus TV Hybrid USB Stick Pro by it great features and performance so it deserved a gold award from us.

Evercool Transformer 6 Heatsink Review @ OCModShop

August 21st, 2008 by Kristofer

If there’s one common hobby among gaming enthusiasts today, it’s case modding. Because hardcore gamers love to LAN together and just like the racing scene, appearance is as important as performance. So what can you slap inside to give your computer that racy edge and make the most of the brand new window view in your case?

Welcome to the next generation of cooling and just damned cool. Introducing the Transformer 6 from Evercool. Featuring a copper base, heat-pipe technology, aluminum fins and a design that looks ready to destroy, the Transformer is more than meets the eye. Or is it? I’ll find that one out for myself. Just sit back and watch the master work.
