Title: Super Talent 8GB Pico.C GOLD USB Flash Drive
Hi guys, we’ve just tested out this tiny techno-bling from Super Talent and discover that not all is golden with this device.

Here’s a quote:
Every now and again two different innovations combine to produce a totally new product. This is exactly what occurred when the Universal Serial Bus interface combined with non-volatile flash memory, to produce a pen-sized plug-in storage device that required no batteries. Thus the USB flash drive was born.

And here again another week has gone by, so that means it’s time to take a look at another program that is supposed to help you take your videos with you on the go.
This week I have Extra DVD Ripper Express and it does have some nice features, it’s
easy to use, but the end product is junk, the final ripped and converted movie is way out of sync to the point it is un-viewable. Some movies that are out of sync aren’t too bad, maybe annoying at times but the final product of Extra DVD Ripper Express is so out of sync… I’m sure you’ve all seen the old Godzilla movies or other Japanese with English voice overs where their lips move and the audio just doesn’t match the lips. Well the end product of Extra DVD Ripper Express is a lot worse than that, to the point where people are talking in the audio but the characters aren’t, or a male talks but yet a female character is moving her lips.. Kinda funny for a few seconds, but not worth much in the end.
But continue on to see some screen shots, and a bit more information, but I’m not getting too in depth with a product that basically doesn’t work…

I4U NEWS published a review of Rosewill RX81-MP-SC-SLV SATA External HDD Enclosure.
Quote from the review:
“Today we are looking at a very nice external HDD enclosure from Rosewill. The Rosewill enclosure has four connectivity options and offers very good performance.
Plugging the large 1TB drive into the board was easy and once plugged in you secure the drive with four screws on the underside of the drive cage. After the drive is secure, you simply reinstall the cage in the reverse order. The complete procedure took all of ten minutes.”

Title:
Akasa Omega
Link:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Akasa/Omega
Brief:
Akasa has taken the Mirage-62 case and has updated it using thick aluminum panels, adding air vents which also can be used for water cooling units and a stylish new front door. The mid-tower case features loads of space and some clever design choices to make it big enough for even the largest power supplies and longest graphics cards.

InsideHW.com has posted review for Prestigio GeoVision 350 GPS navigation device. You can read a clip from review:
“Prestigio GeoVision 350 belongs to low-cost GPS navigation devices (we could say that it is cheapest) but its exterior doesn’t give that impression. Casing and windshield cradle are nicely done without rough edges. They doesn’t look cheap and don’t give impression of low quality product. We don’t have any complaints neither on functionality neither on mobility of windshield cradle. In package we found 12V charger (with adapter for car cigarette lighter), USB cable, external (additional) GPS antenna and manual…”

Title - takeMS DDR3-1066 Mhz memory - First Experience.
Quote - I must admit that lately I’ve been pretty happy with performance of my PC. With Core 2 duo processor inside, 4 Gigabytes of ram and Intel chipset motherboard (on Windows XP) everything is working flawlessly. But you know how it is with high performance PC’s, whenever you see that there is something better and faster then your current PC configuration - you just start to imagine ‘what don’t I have this?’.

Title: ASUS Republic of Gamers Convention: Part 1 @ Techgage
Link: http://techgage.com/article/asus_republic_of_gamers_convention_part_1/
Quote: There’s an exciting event happening in Dallas that comes in the form of a LAN party. Not any usual LAN though, as it’s sponsored by some of the biggest companies in the business, including the event leader, ASUS. While the Dallas heat sure isn’t fun to deal with, the event more than makes up for it so far.
