Listening to the iPod in the car is always easier said than done. The most common ways to connect the iPod to a car stereo is with either a tape deck adapter or with a wireless FM transmitter. Most wireless transmitters are hindered by the fact that with enough driving, most empty frequencies end up with some radio transmissions, sooner or later, this leads to the static breakup of ones iPod signal.
Monster has found one work-around for this problem and today, we will be looking at their latest wireless FM transmitter, the Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250. This is the newest mobile audio accessory from the well know stereo cable company. Specifically designed for use with the iPod and iPhone, you can listen to your digital music collection while driving without any hassles.
Besides functioning as an FM transmitter, the Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250 also works as a USB charger. The USB cord detaches from the Cigarette Lighter Adapter and can be used as a transmitter around any FM radio/device. Plus the USB cable can be used as a charger via any USB 2.0 enabled port or with a Monster iSlimCharger or iCharger Travel USB wall charger.
The Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250 uses Monster AutoScan 3D technology, which triples scans the FM spectrum to locate and lock onto the clearest FM frequency.
These are just some of the features of the Monster iCarPlay Wireless 250. Let’s take a closer look at this product and see what other tricks Monster is holding up its sleeve.

Here is a snippet:
“Great design and ease of use have made Apple’s iPod is the most popular digital music player in the world. The nano is the smallest iPod with a screen. With the release of this 3rd generation, newly designed iPod nano, Apple has created a wonderful addition to its iPod lineup. As with most other Apple products, the nano shows Apple to be a master of packaging and design. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, this nano is beautifully packaged in a clear, simplistic plastic case that showcases the nano without any clutter. The packaging is reminiscent of a jewelry box as it showcases the nano as a prized possession.”

24K Gold Plated 8GB Pico USB Drive is World’s Smallest
San Jose, California – July 15, 2008 – Super Talent Technology, a leading manufacturer of Flash storage solutions and DRAM memory modules, today announced the PICO-C Gold, a 24-carat gold plated, water resistant USB drive that weighs less than a nickel (~4.7 grams), is smaller than an SD card, and can store over 2,000 MP3 songs.
Super Talent uses chip-on-board (COB) technology to squeeze 8GB of Flash into an impressively small 31.3mm x 12.4mm x 3.4mm gold plated steel case. The Pico-C Gold is shock resistant, water resistant, and has up to 200X (30MB/sec) transfer speeds. The Pico-C Gold includes a sturdy gold chain, and looks more like a fashion accessory than a high performance Flash drive.
“Is it the speed, the ruggedness, the water resistance, the incredibly tiny size or the pure elegance that people like most in our Pico-C drive? Who knows? But, this combination of features and style is not offered in any other terrestrial storage device, which makes it a real craze”, commented Super Talent Marketing Director, Joe James.
All Super Talent USB drives are backed with a lifetime warranty. The 8GB Pico-C Gold drive, part number STU8GPCG, is available from NewBiiz and NewEgg today for under $40.

Novint Falcon Review:
Link: http://www.rbmods.com/Articles/Novint/Falcon/1.php

Quote: Today we are taking a look at a cool gaming device from Novint, named Falcon. This new device will be gamebreaking if the features and hype about it are correct. It is a “mouse” for gaming but it allows you to do so much more with a force feedback function and a free movement. It’s hard to explain further without pictures so lets take a closer look.

InsideHW.com has posted editorial about Intel Montevina - Centrino 2 Portable Platform. You can read a clip from review:
“Almost five years ago, Intel promoted its first uniform solution attended for notebooks, under the brand – Centrino. This brand was launched with intention to consolidate a position of Intel on notebook’s market as number one. Many people are making a mistake if they think that Centrino is some Intel processor attended for notebooks and is based on “rocket science” technology. TITLE: Best CPU Cooler Performance - Q2 2008 @ Benchmark Reviews
DESCRIPTION: After publishing the first quarterly comparison article of the series, our methodology was adjusted to include test results with both reference and performance cooling fans. A follow-up article comparing the Vendetta 2 vs TRUE vs HDT-S1283 was later published using the new methods, and the results more accurately illustrated the performance an overclocking enthusiast might receive compared to someone who buys the product and uses it in the stock form.
Benchmark Reviews strives to offer the overclocker and hardware enthusiast community solid evidence reflecting the true performance of computer products through rigorous testing and evaluation. I personally understand that many readers who visit Benchmark Reviews have been involved with other community websites for years, and therefore take our test results personally. So now that our test process has been reworked, we have collected the most complete source of benchmark results possible and gathered in a controlled environment. The purpose of this second article of our series is to document performance and declare the best CPU coolers available as of Q2 2008.

NEW CONTENT (Visual) - ASUS EN9600GT SILENT Graphics Card
QUOTE: “You’d think we would have looked at all 9600GT cards on the market, but I can guarantee there are more out there. The particular one we’re looking at today comes from ASUS and carries with it a silent cooler. We’ve seen GIGABYTE offer the 9600GT in silent form, sporting both 512MB and 1GB of GDDR3. MSI also has a card where the fan only spins when the card needs it. During our testing, however, the fan never actually spun.
Silent cards are becoming quite the rage and everyone wants good performance without any noise. In the past, the design used to be reserved for low-end cards, but these days we seem to be able to get a good performing card that outputs not a single dB. In the highly competitive market that is the 9600GT, we will today see if ASUS are able to do anything that helps them stand out from the pack and if it’s a card worth looking at.”
