We’ve just posted another review. This time we took a look at Nexus Basic Series fans.

Quote
“he Basic Series fans are the same Real Silent fans as we looked at last year. But the real difference comes with the included Silicon Fan mounts and the color scheme being used on the 80 and 92mm as well. The fans are quiet but slightly underpowered in CFM. But the difference is in both noise / cfm is very slim. But their cheaper than the Noctua’s and seriously though, how quiet do you want them? These are pretty quiet already :) .”

ENERMAX Caesar Keyboard Review motherboards.org

Author: Benjamin Sun Date: 02-28-2008

If you can get around the feel of the keys and the responsiveness issues, this keyboard might be for you. The extra features including the brushed aluminum construction and the keys suit the new keyboard user well and make for an interesting choice for those that pound away at keys all day like Doc and me. The extra features of the keyboard including the onboard audio jacks and USB 2.0 ports are excellent features. Doc says this is the worst keyboard he has ever spent $89 on and I have to agree.

We have just posted another motherboard review and this time around we have the Gigabyte GA-73PVM-SH2 mATX board on the bench.  This board is small in size but big on features as it comes equipped with 3 SATA, 1 eSATA, Firewire, USB2.0, 8-Channel Audio as well as support for D-Sub DVI-D and HDMI output from the integrated GeForce 7100.  At its heart is a 630i Intel chipset and it works very well.  Check our review for all the details.

There are lots of options if you’re looking for a HTPC or basic motherboard, and the Gigabyte GA-73PVM-SH2 is yet another. If you start to compare feature-for-feature, you’re going to have a tough time finding a board with more features than the GA-73PVM-SH2, and that’s what makes this board a great choice.

NEW CONTENT (Visual) – Palit GeForce 9600GT Sonic Graphics Card

QUOTE: “As with all Sonic models from Palit this card comes out with an increased core and memory clocks so we’ll just have to see how it goes today against the competition. But before we check that out, we of course need to have a look at the package and card which should prove to be very good. It’s clearly got some stand out features; what are they? Well, there’s only one way to find out and that’s by moving forward.

The Palit 9600GT could be one of the best graphics cards we’ve seen to date, so let’s see if first impressions hold up as we get stuck straight into it.”

I4U NEWS reviews the new Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000.

Quote from the review:
“This wireless mouse is rechargeable and includes a charging base. The mouse also has shortcut buttons for Windows Vista.
As with the 6000, when you accelerate the mouse pointer with the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 via the software you give up some accuracy for the sake of smaller hand movements. The scroll wheel is smooth scrolling and lacks any click. This makes it easier to scroll long pages by flicking the scroll wheel. However, I found that I hit the scroll wheel often be accident making the page jump around a bit.”
